So as most of you are probably experiencing yourselves, winter is here - and oh, it's cold! As I'm writing it's snowing like crazy outside and the temperature is in the negatives - eeek! This was the definitive reason to write my "sweater weather" post - so here we go! *sipping hot cocoa*

ASOS Fashion Finder Competitions

Hello lovelies, happy hump day! Hope you're all having a wonderful, stress-free week! Today I want to talk to you about some great competitions you can take part in at ASOS Fashion Finder. If you have been following my posts (and if you'll read the "About Me" blog section) you'll know I'm a huge Fashion Finder fan and a member there for about 2 years. I love creating outfits, it's sort of my recreational, stress relieving thing to do plus it's a ton of fun! The community is so friendly and welcoming, you'll fit in in no time! Just this summer they hosted a competition in collaboration with Ibiza Rocks and the prize was a brilliant Ibiza vacation - and yes I won it! Well not "per say", I was chosen as second but the first prize winner wasn't available to travel at that time so I got to do it - huge YAY me! I was thinking of writing a post about my trip with a ton of pics filled with Ibiza awesomeness but it just seems so inappropriate to write such a post in this gloomy weather - is it just me? I digress! One of the brilliant competitions you can enter is the "Trending Now" looks competition where you basically have to upload your look based on the winter pastels or grunge trends. What's the prize you ask? Oh, just £125 to spend at ASOS. No joke, guys! Here's one of mine:

Firmoo Giveaway

I was recently contacted by the lovely folks over at Firmoo who offered me a pair of glasses of my choice; that's right, I wear glasses! I have terrible eyesight but use my glasses when absolutely necessary like driving or around the house. For some reason I think I look much better without them. I did wear contact lenses for almost a year but developed a weird allergy because of them so I went back to the good old glasses. Now, when the guys from Firmoo contacted me I thought it was such a great opportunity to get rid of my fixation about wearing glasses and find myself a pair I really love and actually wear all the time! I have always wanted a bigger pair, geek chic kind of style and found myself the perfect ones! Here are some pictures:

Pink Coat & Winter Pastels

As many other fashion followers out there I too have fallen in love with the pink coat trend. And not only! I love wearing pink and pastels which I don't normally do in the A/W season. This goes to show how easily influenced we can be by current trends. I haven't actually shopped around these trends though, I try to work it out from stuff I already have but a lot of times when going through the wardrobe pastel shades lure me into picking them. But enough chit-chat, time for some pictures! Today's outfit is a casual take on winter pastels.
